"I enjoyed working on this painting. The idea of New York and a surreal, peaceful landscape connected by the American Flag, a bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. Everything is connected and important, especially people.
I am a very strong advocate for mental health and addiction/suicide awareness. I lost my husband Thanksgiving 2002 to suicide and lost my son to mental health/addiction and suicide in 2021.
